The Dallas-Fort Worth Urban League Young Professionals (DFWULYP) invites members to compete in the inaugural Pitch Your Brand Virtual Competition for a chance to win a $500 investment toward their business, initiative, or community impact project. Participants will present innovative ideas that align with DFWULYP’s mission of empowering young professionals and creating meaningful community impact. A panel of three judges will evaluate each pitch and award the $500 prize to the winning presentation.

Participants must be active members of DFWULYP.

Pitches may represent a business, nonprofit initiative, social impact project, community

program, or personal brand concept.

Ideas should demonstrate alignment with community empowerment, leadership,

innovation, and service.

Each participant will have 3 minutes to present their pitch and 2 minutes for judge questions and feedback.

Participants are encouraged to include:

 The purpose of their brand/project

 The problem or community need being addressed

 Their target audience or community impact

 How the $500 investment would support growth or implementation

 Long-term vision and sustainability
